Long days bring big rewards.
Cheyenne Gymnastics Parent Booster Club partnered with Centerplate in 2017 to provide concessions services for Denver Broncos games and a handful of other events at Mile High Stadium throughout the year. (Aramark has since taken over the contract). This usually involves selling Broncos apparel, but might also involve selling beer and other concessions food. TIPS training is required for any event involving beer sales.
The commitment to work a game, concert, or other special event is a big one—possibly up to 13 hours, and not always in great weather—but the return is tax-free money for individual accounts that builds up quickly and has been used to cover the entire cost of a competitive season by a number of families. A minimum of six volunteers are required for an event, and they don't all have to be CGPBC members. You're welcome to bring a non-gymnast family friend to work! Every effort is made to distribute game opportunities equally and carpool from Cheyenne to Denver.
Vice President Brandi Robinson is the lead point of contact for this fundraiser; please reach out to her with any questions about signing up.
